I hope everyone had a good weekend! I didn't do much this weekend except attend a conference and went warehouse-ing at the Shiseido Warehouse! I wanted to go to the Nine West and the Petite Feet Warehouse, but I figured since I'm not free on Thursday, which was the VIP day, my chances of getting my hands on a pair of Rozas is next to none. I'll go next time as they stock up on them each warehouse {I hope they don't stop for next time! *knock on wood*}. For those who are Toronto warehousers, don't forget that Lisa's Cosmetics is reopening on November 19th, 2011!
I went on Sunday (the last day) at 2PM (an hour before closing) so I'm sure a lot of the merchandise was gone. I (sometimes) do this during warehouses cause:
1. It limits how much I can buy when I have hours and hours to shift through merchandise
2. Less wait time for the entrance line
3. Less people - since all the eager beavers usually try to get into the warehouse at opening

I originally purchased the self-tanner because I thought it was a bronzing product and just grabbed it to "even out" my skin tone on my legs... It turns out its not the product I was hoping for when I gave it a closer look. I'll probably give t to one of my sun-addicted friends.
Anyways, I hope this is a helpful reference for those who hope to go in the future!

ReplyDelete@Charlene: aww thank you! well they come around often so i wouldn't worry - and the stock each time is pretty similar :) just keep an eye out :p (maybe note to self in the future i should blog about all the warehouses XD hahhaha!)
ReplyDelete@steph: i'm lucky that my guy friend actually got the flyer and told me about it so i could go. if it weren't for him i would have not known about it! the last 2x i went the line wasn't that bad. tops 20 min wait - wayyy better than the mac warehouse line :) go next time! and follow my tips :) go at the last hour of the warehouse to minimize the line ^_^
My girlfriend loves this make-up! Can you give me good ideas on what to give her for her upcoming birthday? I dunno what she needs, but I think a warehouse sale might be a perfect timing for me to buy even the ones she doesn't need. She can probably stock up or use 'em if she wants.
ReplyDelete@Ethan: I think neutral colours, black mascara, and black eyeliner is pretty much fail-safe gifts since everyone wears them at one point : ) other things would be blushes, eyeshadows, or lip products - but those are dependent on what kind of colours your girlfriend likes!
ReplyDeleteI would recommend purchasing a Naked Palette by Urban Decay (available at Sephora) if you don't really know what to get her and you don't end up going to a warehouse! If you do go to a warehouse, check out if they have any gift sets cause they usually have some with lots of variety! If not just pick up the 'fail safe' gifts I recommended above or any colours that you would think is flattering for her : ) {she'll appreciate the thought :D}
